About this site

crawlspacedehumidifiers.org is an independent consumer guide focused on one thing: keeping the crawl space under your home dry. We cover how to size a dehumidifier, which units are built for crawl space conditions, what installation costs, and where to find a contractor who does this work.

Who runs it

The site is owned and published by Black Cat Software LLC, a US company based in Florida. We are not affiliated with any dehumidifier manufacturer or installer.

How we research

Product specifications on this site come from manufacturer documentation and retailer listings, and we note when a figure could not be verified. We do not publish invented ratings or reviews. Sizing guidance follows industry conventions used by AHAM and manufacturers, and we link to the sources we rely on.

How the site is funded

We earn commissions when you buy through some of the links on this site, including as an Amazon Associate. That does not change what we recommend or what you pay. Details are on our affiliate disclosure page.

What we are not

We are a publisher, not a contractor or a retailer. We do not sell or install dehumidifiers. Installers listed in our directory are independent businesses; we do not vouch for their work, and you should get multiple quotes before hiring anyone.
