What this site is for

This site is a consumer guide. The sizing guidance, product comparisons, cost figures, installation walkthroughs and installer directory are published for general information. None of it is plumbing, electrical, building-code, legal or health advice, and none of it replaces a licensed contractor looking at your actual crawl space. Codes and conditions vary by county, so check with your local building department before you seal a vent, cut into a joist or run a drain line.

Accuracy, specs and prices

We work from manufacturer spec sheets, manuals and retailer listings, and each page states the date its figures were read. Specifications, prices, warranties and stock change without notice, so we cannot promise that a page is current on the day you read it. The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Confirm the current price and specification on the retailer or manufacturer page before you buy.
